JamPad has been quiet as of late. Not many blogs, press, or relevant info has been leaked, and it’s been designed this way. I just wanted to drop into the blog here and fire off some updates as to what’s been going on behind the scenes of the mob, ad it’s been a lot to say the least:
We recently received our 1,500th application to the group. Note: only 29 have been accepted. Quite wild how desperate Arizona actually was for a legit, tier 1 tech bro club.
People from groups such as 1517, transplants from Silicon Valley, those with billionaire backers, and more have been recently added to the group.
Multiple companies have closed rounds of funding. Note: beware of a major storm at the end of September from a select few JP companies; both locally & nationally!
Numerous other companies are surpassing benchmarks from getting their first paying customers and building in major distribution channels, to hitting $10K, $20K, and more in MRR, ready to scale.
Pollinations are continuing to take place at digs such as The Scott, Andreoli, SkySong Lounge, Mountain Shadows, Sips Coffee, The Sanctuary, Bianco, and more. They are beginning to leave a lasting imprint of “tech bro territory” in each, laying infra level 1 for the ecosystem.
Bridges & networks for investors, talent, operators, customers, media, and more are beginning to form as part of JP’s infra. Said bridged & networks run as local as Scottsdale & Paradise Valley, all the way to tier 1 in Silicon Valley, Germany, and Italy.
Just to name a few…
A Storm Is Coming…?
All I can & will say until the crater “hits”, is the following: for the first time in a decade, besides a handful (< 5) of companies, Arizona will add 2 startups to that list that have “popped” on a national scale for recognition. This is a big deal, obviously for the startups, but also for the ecosystem, as numerous organizations & talking heads locally have missed the fact that companies & founders drive the growth of a city, not the investors/governments/etc (love ya, PG).
Final Say
We’ll be inducting some new members publicly into the mob shortly, so stay tuned for that, plus table-stakes content such as BookClub & founder features. This will be the case until the beginning of October.
What happens next? JamPad’s media machine starts & our bid to not only lift Arizona to new heights in tech, but also change the culture nationally begin.
The Few. The Proud. The Founders (IYKYK).
