Announcing JamPad's First 5 Board Members
Success and growth is in the air for techies in the valley right now. A few weeks ago, we announced JP 2.0, a whole slew of structure being shipped to the group that will begin to hasten the speed at which we bring Tempe, AZ and its surrounding areas to become a destination for tech in the US. Since then, here’s a bit of what we’re rolled out:
Tiers for all our founders (soon to be viewable for the public on the incoming new JP website).
New events where founders are pollinating places in Tempe & Arcadia 2-3x/week to leverage one another.
Implementing internal infra only available to JP founders to leverage one another’s networks locally and in places like the Bay Area.
Beginning to implement pieces for a JP Syndicate (more on this in a separate blog).
The Criteria
As chairman & founder of JP, I’ve gotten to know most JP founders quite well in a very short period of time. Now, it’s important to note the board will be expanding as the group grows. There are multiple founders in JP who fit this criteria or almost do, so have no fear, there’s still plenty of opportunities to seize for a JP Board seat.
Diversity of stage (L1 + L2)
How well I (AL) know you
Involvement in JP
Talent & potential (both Qual + Quant)
Quality of ideas + ability to execute
With that being said, let’s reveal who’ll be occupying the first 5 seats:
Wrapping Up
Tempe, Scottsdale, Arcadia, and PV will be such a destination in 10 years, especially after JamPad’s done with it. I can’t say how excited I am to continue building this place to heights no one has imagined here in decades.
It’s a wildly invigorating time to be on the ground floor here in AZ for tech. Onwards.
